Two weeks ago I got a recommendation for a book by Amazon.com. The book was Brains On Fire. As I’m very interested in Word-of-Mouth I wrote an e-mail to brainsonfire.com, asking, » What do you think your book is accomplishing that…» …the other books I’ve read about Word-of-Mouth do not?
I was expecting a reply some way or another, but have not got one yet. And my guess now is that I’ll never get one.
So – instead of getting me to buy the book, they got me to spread some negative Word-of-Mouth.
And of course, I’m not going to buy this book.
Whenever you get a mail or otherwise is being asked about a product you sell, always reply. ALWAYS.
Sorry you didn’t get a response..not sure why your email fell in a dark hole. My name is Geno Church I’m a co author of the book and my role at BOF is Word of Mouth Inspiration Officer.
Why should you buy it?
We wrote a book about sharing some of the lessons we’ve learned along the way as we’ve worked with courageous brands and organizations for the last 9 years.
What I can promise is it’s not about tools, it’s about engaging with human beings… Your employees, your customers, your advocates.
I’m not going to try to talk you into buying the book… But you never know what is going to motivate you into doing something meaningful in this world. That’s what I hope the book will motivate the reader to do.
Sorry again for the response, cheers.

Thanks Geno for your comment. Much appreciated. Although it came late, it came.
I’m aware of what you did to the WoM Marketing of Fiskars, so I’ll be following your Brains On Fire Blog.
Have a really nice day. And thanks a lot for your comment.
Cheers,
Roy
